TABULA is seismic reactive architectural light by San Francisco based sculptural artist Charles Gadeken and seismic artist D.V. Rogers. Real-time USGS global seismic data is displayed in various modes on a scrolling LED world map which moves anti-clockwise across 385 Sherman Avenue, Palo Alto, California.

Also known as AFTERSHOCK, this architectural seismic light work represents the dynamic and constant movement of tectonic plates and the resulting effect large earthquakes can have on communities living above active seismic zones. Software by Life Orange and Code on Canvas. LED hardware by 3Waylabs. A permanent installation commissioned by Brick Architecture and Palo Alto Arts Commission.
